For over 30 years, Dave Carter has combined his enthusiasm for photography with his love of the great outdoors and adventure travel. Always taking the camera(s) along to wherever the next trip or adventure finds him, he relishes the opportunity to capture all aspects of this amazing world in which we live whether it's at the local park or on top of the "Lost World" mountains of remote Venezuela.
Although his personal preferences have long been for landscape and travel photography, he likes nothing more than to diversify and broaden his creative scope in the visual art. He embraces the changing trends in photographic technology with the emergence of video as a popular medium and frequently publishes to his channel on youtube.
He started his working life as a Commercial Graphic Artist before going back to education, getting a Physics degree then embarking on a career in IT. Having now left a 20 year full-time career as an IT Professional behind in order to devote more time to his passions in life, there is the hope that, through this website, his combined artistic and technical skills will create images and video that bring enjoyment to a greater number of people, help to inspire those that view them and raise awareness and respect for the subjects they contain.
